Vulcanizing press type EMU

Our EMU vulcanizing press impresses with its lightweight design, which enables flexible use with low individual weights. The heating system in sandwich design (with silicone heating element) and the pressure pad system ensure optimum pressure and temperature distribution. Thanks to the integrated cooling channels in the heating plate, the EMU vulcanizing press is equipped for both air and water cooling and therefore offers fast heating and cooling times.

Heating plates

The EMU heating plates are characterized by their silicone heating elements, which ensure efficient and even heat transfer. Their sandwich construction with integrated insulation and heating and cooling channels enables optimum temperature control. Their low unit weights and compact dimensions make transportation and handling considerably easier.

Traverses for surface pressure system

Our crossbars for the surface pressure system consist of lightweight profiles made of high-strength aluminum alloy. Despite their low weight, they offer maximum tensile and bending strength and are specially designed for robust applications. The crossbars guarantee a high safety standard by inserting tension bolts with safety pins inside the crossbar profiles. Set-up aids for safe and precise positioning of the trusses are included in the scope of delivery.

As light as aluminum and as strong as conventional steel.

The extruded crossbars are manufactured from a block of aluminium. Our special WAGENER Vulcanizers alloy is used here, which combines the advantages of two worlds: we benefit from lightweight aluminium and achieve the strength of conventional steel.

Pressure pad

Our TÜV-certified pressure pads are available in various designs, including rhombic 16.7°, rhombic 22° and right-angled 90°, and ensure even pressure distribution. They can be used with compressed air, water or a water-glycol mixture as a pressure medium. They are also aramid-reinforced and extremely robust.

Pressure control

We offer our Air Control Box for the use of compressed air as a pressure medium. Various pressurized water systems are available for pressurizing with water or a water-glycol mixture. These can be found in the product sheet.

For automatic vulcanizing processes with electronic temperature control.

A special compact controller with PID control is used for electronic temperature control. The
controller is equipped with a characteristic adapted to the vulcanizing process and enables an optimum heating curve.
control cabinets with this controller can be used with different heating plates (size, power, manufacturer) without additional
calibration.
